# Expenses account notifications

> [!NOTE]
> **Note**: Only admins can turn off notifications. Users can turn off their own notifications. See [Preferences](/docs/account-preferences).

1. Click the setup icon at the bottom-left of the screen.
2. Select **People**.
3. Tick the box to the left of the person whose notifications you want to turn off.
4. Click **Edit**.
5. Tick the **Switch off all notifications** box, then click **Save**.
