# Altered Pay and Employee Net Payments reports

Several reports in Cintra People contain additional settings that let you highlight differences in pay between pay periods. These reports are:

- Altered Pay (70% Variance)
- Altered Pay (Greater than £1,000)
- Employee Net Payments

When you open any of these reports, you will be shown the following options in the **Settings** side-menu

- **Show difference**: Select either By **%** or By **Value**. This will compare each employee's pay from the pay period you selected with the previous period.
- **Difference greater than**: Enter either a percentage or currency value.
- **Starts / Leavers**: People who have just joined or left the company will usually account for large discrepancies in the payroll. Unchecking either box will remove them from the report.
- **Unchanged payment groups**: Check this box to show all results, not just those with large variances.

If you make any changes, click **APPLY** to update the report.
