# General problems and errors

If you’re having problem logging in, try this [FAQ page](/docs/employee-signin-faq).

#### Why can’t I see / do something I can see in the help?

There are two probable reasons for this.

1. You are using a version of Cintra People where this feature is not available.
2. You do not have the correct user type / user permissions. For example, standard employees have very limited functionality within the system. For more information, speak to your HR manager or administrator.

#### Why am I getting a 403 message?

When you click a link, the following error occurs:

> [!CAUTION]
> "403: Forbidden. You do not have access to the requested resource."

If you do not have permission to view a request, you will receive this message. Speak to your HR manager/administrator about gaining access.

Remember:

- You will need the HR Manager role to undertake HR Management tasks generally found under the **Org Admin** tab.
- You will need the Administrator role to undertake all system configuration tasks found under the **Configuration** tab.
