# Work patterns

Work patterns are a new feature in Cintra People that improve the functionality of the work profiles - which have now been renamed as leave profiles to better reflect their functionality.

To find out more about work patterns, see the first article in this section: [Guide: Work patterns](/hr/docs/guide-work-patterns).
