# How do I convert a report definition?

## To convert a listing report

1. Highlight a **Listing** report.
2. Click the **Convert** button. The **Convert Definition** pop up appears.
3. Ensure **Convert to: Payroll report** is selected.
4. Click the **OK** button. The report is changed to a **Payroll** report.

> **Note:** To convert a Payroll report to a Listing report, perform the same steps but ensure Convert to: Listing report is selected in the Convert Definition pop up.
