# How do I edit a loan repayment for the current period?

Within **Cintra iQ**, you can edit an employee's loan repayment amount for the current period via **Payroll Period Input**. The original amount is derived from the **Loan Repayment** that was set up in **Deductions.**

## How do I edit the data?

1. Navigate to the **Loan Repayments** tab in the employee's **Payroll Period Input and Corrections** window. Go to **Cintra iQ**: Employment record > Forms > Payroll Period Input
2. Change the **Input** Amount.
3. Click the **OK** button. The record is updated in the **Loan Repayments** tab.
4. Recalculate the payslip. The loan deduction is now displayed on the **Payslip**.
