# How do I reset my password in Cintra iQ?

## Changing your password after logging in:

To change your password in Cintra iQ, follow these steps:

1. For Windows users: Press the **Ctrl** + **Alt** + **End** keys together. For Mac users: Press **Ctrl**, **Alt**, **Fn**, and **End** keys together.
2. A menu will appear. Select "Change Password".
3. You will be directed to the "Change a password" screen. Here, input your current Cintra iQ password.
4. Enter your new password twice.
5. Click the arrow to save your new password.

## Forgotten your password?

If you forget your password and need it reset:

1. Contact your Cintra iQ system administrator. This article explains how they can [reset your password](/iq/docs/how-do-i-reset-a-user-s-password-in-cintra-iq).
2. You will receive an email with a temporary password.
3. When you log in with your temporary password you will be asked to change it.
