# What is the report archive?

The **Report Archive** within **Cintra iQ** is a central repository that keeps an historical record of your reports so that you can easily go back to a point in time and review the report. With reports held on the database, you are able to return to the reports at a later date or notify other users that there are reports available for them to review. The **Report Archive** is also useful so that you do not have to print paper copies for auditing purposes each time a report is created. The reports are archived for when you need them.
