# International payments to employees (July 2026)

You can now assign an international bank transfer as an employee's payment method, directly from their record in Cintra People Payroll.

> [!NOTE]
> This option will only appear if your organisation is set up to pay employees with international bank accounts. To set this up, either contact [support](/payroll/docs/help-and-support) or speak to your payroll manager.

#### What's New

- On the employee’s payment details, you can select between a **Domestic** and **International** transfer.
- International details include IBAN, BIC/SWIFT, bank country, destination currency, and who bears the transfer charges.
- An **Additional details** section captures service provider, account type, payment method, beneficiary address, and any correspondent-bank instructions the receiving bank needs.
- Read-only users can view an employee's payment method without the ability to add or edit it.

- **Set up overseas payments directly:** Everything needed for an international payment is captured in one place.
- **Right access for the right role:** Read-only users can see payment details without being able to change them.
