You may receive a court order from either a council or agency who wish to recover money directly through the employee's pay. Once an AOE order has been set up for an employee (see Setting up AOE orders against an employee), if the order specifies the amount, you need to enter the deduction and protected earnings amounts.
To enter deductions and protected earnings
Navigate to the AOE Deductions tab.
Go to Cintra iQ: Employment Record > Forms > Deductions windowSelect the desired AOE order type in the AOE Orders pane.
In the AOE Order Deductions pane, right-click and select New. The New AOE Deduction window appears.
In the From field, enter the date the order is active.
In the desired payroll frequency, enter the Deduction amount and Protected Earnings amounts.
Click the OK button.
The order's deductions appear in the AOE Order Deductions pane.
Cintra iQ applies the relevant deduction amount and protected earnings amount for the current period.
Note: If you now calculate the payslip, you will see the relevant deduction amount.
