Exporting via FTP

Prev Next

You can automatically send your export file (CSV, Excel, or TXT) directly to your finance system over FTP instead of downloading it manually

Enabling FTP export

  1. Go to Setup > Settings > Integration.

  2. Select FTP Export.

  1. Enter your FTP connection details:

    • Host / Server

    • Port (leave blank to use the default)

    • Username / Password

    • Remote Folder / Directory

  1. Click Save.

Exporting to FTP

  1. Go to Accounting > Export and run an export as normal.

  2. If FTP Export is active, the system will generate the export file and attempt to upload it directly to the FTP server you’ve configured.

  3. After a successful upload, you’ll get a confirmation and you can mark those transactions as exported in the usual way.

If the FTP fails

If the FTP connection can’t be made (for example, password wrong or server unreachable), the system will fall back automatically:

  • The file will download in your browser.

  • You can still import it manually to your finance system.

  • You can still mark the transactions as exported.

Re-exporting / Reverting

If you’ve marked transactions as exported but need to:

  • Export them again, or

  • Undo that export and bring them back into unexported state:

Go to the History tab in Accounting > Export.

Select the export file from the list and you’ll see options to re-export or revert those lines.
