Introduction to trips

Trips allow you to group travel expenses together under a single journey and set time-based spend limits across multiple expense categories. This gives finance teams greater visibility and control over travel costs, and ensures expenses comply with company policy.

For Ireland-based organisations, trips also support Enhanced Revenue Reporting by automatically calculating journey hours and applying the correct subsistence rate band. See Ireland - Enhanced Revenue Report (ERR).
