Loading payroll data for multiple employees has always meant working record by record, or sending files to your bureau team to process manually. The new Bulk Import tool changes that — upload your spreadsheet, match your columns on screen, and fix problems as you go, all without leaving Cintra People Payroll.
What's new?
Bulk Import is available for three data types: new starters, salary & allowances, and one-off payments & deductions. You can:
Upload your file as it is. Drag and drop a CSV or Excel file, or download a template first if you prefer to start from scratch. For one-off payments, the tool reads your layout automatically, whether payments run down the rows or across the columns.
Match your columns on screen. Each column is automatically checked against Cintra's fields and marked as Auto-mapped, Needs review, or Not mapped, so you can see at a glance what needs your attention. Point any unmatched heading at the right field, or ignore a column entirely if you don't want to import it.
Fix problems on the spot. Rows that fail validation are shown in red, with the reason why. Correct them directly on screen, click Revalidate, and you're ready to import — no re-uploading required.
Track every import. A Recent Imports table shows the file, import type, payroll, and status for everything you've run, with the option to download the original file at any time.
