Cintra People Payroll handles different types of employer-provided benefit in several places, which can all be accessed when editing the employee.
Note: If you are an outsourced customer and you can’t see the benefit option you need, contact your payroll team.
Salary and allowances
Benefits processed through payroll (payrolled), such as private medical insurance or critical illness cover, are entered in the Salary and Allowances tab against a payrolled benefit payment heading. See Salary and allowances.

Salary sacrifices
Any salary sacrifice schemes, such as pension contributions, cycle to work, or childcare vouchers, are entered in Benefits > Salary sacrifices. See Salary sacrifice schemes.

Company vehicles
Company cars and vans are managed as a benefit directly against the employee. These are assigned and managed in the Benefits tab > Company vehicles. Benefit-in-Kind (BIK) tax is calculated automatically and feeds straight into payroll. See Company vehicles.

Other non-salary sacrifice benefits
Other employer benefits with an optional employee contribution, such as private healthcare membership (employer paid) with additional perks like a sauna (employee paid). These are entered in the Benefits tab > Other benefits. See Other benefit schemes.
