Reset a user's authentication

If one of your Cintra People users no longer has access to the mobile phone they use to access the system, you will need to reset their authentication.

To do this:

  1. Select the Payroll tab.

  2. In the side menu under Settings, select Manage users.

  3. Select the appropriate tab, depending on whether they are an HR or a Payroll user (some users can be in both tabs).

  4. Select the user’s name.

  5. Under Authentication preferences, you will see either Authenticator App, or the user’s mobile number.

  1. To reset, select Click here to reset the authentication setup.

  2. Once you have read the warning, turn on the I have verified… toggle.

  3. Click Save.

The next time the user signs in, they will be asked to set up MFA again.
