Guide to managing employees in HR and Payroll

Prev Next

Currently, adding a new employee involves adding information into both the HR and Payroll tabs of Cintra People. This article explains what information you need to add and in what order. It also explains where to make changes when editing an employee.

Where to edit employee information

While employee data can be viewed in both HR and Payroll, you will only be able to edit this information in HR or Payroll, depending on the type of data.

The following table explains which areas of an employee’s data are edited in HR, and which areas are edited in Payroll. As a general use, you should try to edit employee information in HR first.

Remember!

As Cintra People evolves and new functionality is added, additional features may be added to the table below, or items may move from one area to another. Bookmark and refer to this page to ensure you are looking at the latest information.
