Getting started as an employee

Your organisation has implemented Cintra People as its payroll and HR system. As an employee of your organisation, Cintra People will let you book leave, access your pay documents, and view other key information.

To find out more about each area of the system, click the relevant link below.  

Note: You may not be able to access some of the features, depending on your user permissions and your organisation’s settings. Speak to your HR administrator for more information

Employee features

The table below lists all the functionality a typical employee of the full version of Cintra People can see. These areas can be accessed in the side menu or the menu at the top-right of the screen.

Dashboard

Your personalised home screen, giving an at-a-glance view of tasks, announcements, and key information across Cintra People.

Preferences

Manage your date format / time-zone, digest email, and notification settings.

Security settings

Change your password, passkey, or 2FA settings to keep your account secure.

Alerts

View notifications for events, actions, and announcements that are relevant to you, such as leave approvals or task reminders.

Directory

Browse a searchable list of colleagues across your organisation, including contact details and reporting lines.

Company Docs

Access documents shared by your organisation, such as policies, handbooks, and company-wide resources.

Culture - Newsfeed

Stay up to date with company news, announcements, and posts shared by your organisation.

Culture - Shout-outs

Recognise and celebrate colleagues by sending public shout-outs for their contributions and achievements.

Culture - Surveys

Participate in surveys created by your organisation to share feedback and opinions.

Payslips

View and download your payslips for current and previous pay periods.

Pay Documents

View and download additional pay-related documents provided by your employer, such as P45s and P60s.

Profile

View and update your personal information, including contact details, emergency contacts, and employment details.

Leave

Request time off, view your leave balances, and track the status of submitted requests.

Reviews

Participate in performance reviews, view feedback from your manager, and track your review history.

Goals

Set, track, and update your personal and professional goals, and align them with your team or company objectives.

Checklists

View and complete tasks assigned to you, typically as part of onboarding or other structured processes.
